Born in Barcelona, Spain, Alicia divides her working time between her hometown and Florence, Italy. After graduating at the Artes and Oficios School of Barcelona, Alicia has succeeded in creating an artistic trend among the artists of her generation and her work is now present in private and public collections around the world.

Ms. Grau has shown her paintings in both group and solo shows, many in galleries in Spain. Her art has also brought her a number of awards and international recognition.

She held Individual exhibitions from 1984 since today in different Art Galleries located in Barcelona, Vilassar de Mar, Roses, Denia, Borges Blanques, Olot, Arenys de Mar, Manresa, Calafell, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Vic, Zaragoza, Blanes, Reus, Tortosa, Matadepera, Vilanoveta, Sitges, Castellon, Madrid, Valencia, La Coruña, Murcia, San Sebastián, Malaga, Girona and Figueres.

In Switzerland her Individual exhibitions were held in Geneva (Catherine van Notte Galleries), Klosters (Gallery Allegro), and Sant Gallen ( Eule Art and Gallerie Bodhom).

Other Individual exhibitions were In Holland ( Amsterdam, Art Gallery, Amsterdam, Holland, Italy ( Tornabuoni Art Gallery, Florence, Italy), United Kingdom ( Gagliardi Gallery and W H Patterson Galleries in London ) and Abu Dhabi ( Culture & Heritage Abu Dhabi )

Also she joined number of group exhibitions from 1984 to 2014 In different places in Spain, Switzerland, USA, Korea and Japan.

Many publications wrote about her paintings in Spanish and foreign press. As well as, in art magazines, for exemple: British Museum Magazine and American Art Collector.

Alicia Grau’s paintings are full of tenderness and sensibility, but above all redolent of love of her subject, even when she is dealing with an elegant still-life.
Her work is carefully considered and constructed, with successive layers of color; each contributes to the overall masterful composition.


Alicia Grau，生於1955，西班牙巴塞隆納人。自1984年起迄今至少有68項個展、99項群展記錄(包括30場藝博會、19項沙龍展、5項美術館展覽) 與13項競賽頭獎記錄，自1998年以後不再參加任何競賽項目。她的作品在很多國家的著名當代藝術畫廊都有展出，如美國（特別是紐約、波士頓、洛杉磯和舊金山）、義大利、西班牙、瑞士、日本和荷蘭，藏家遍及世界各地。印象派畫風，擅長兒童和女性人物畫，以及靜物和城市景觀，散發出一種寧靜、高雅的味道。

巴塞隆納是她的故鄉也是目前工作的地方，義大利的佛羅倫斯也是，所以經常往返於兩地。自從藝術學院畢業後，她在同儕之間一直是帶領風潮的佼佼者，藏家遍及全世界。
